Dainty Antique Gold Drop Earrings with Black Enamel

Adorable and dainty, these antique Victorian earrings feature black enamel on gold domes with gold ear wires. These could have been used for later period mourning attire due to the black enamel or would make adorable everyday earrings. This style of enameling decoration is often referred to as taille d'Epargne

There are no hallmarks but acid tested for approx 9-10k on the ear wires. Dome portions assumed to be gold filled or low karat gold. Enamel is in good shape overall but some slight wear to one earring dome under close inspection (see magnified images).

Total weight for both earrings is 1.6g. Height of earrings is 18.5mm.
