Beautiful long chain necklace with small, double opal (faux) and pearl slide. Chain is gold-filled and unmarked with one dog clasp and a doubled chain. This allows for a variety of wearing options but does not open fully into a single length.
Chain is a link style in good condition. Dog clasp swivels and is in good condition.
Era: Approx 1930s
Markings: No markings.
Stone: Small faux opals (likely glass) and 6 small pearls (likely faux) set in a cross shaped chain slide.
Metal: Unmarked and untested but assumed gold-filled based appearance.
Size: Length of doubled chain is 25 inches. Full length of chain would be approx 49 inches.
Condition: There are some light marks and abrasions and a little patina in some of the links. One small pearl is cracked and is missing lustre.
This item is vintage so it has been previously loved. As such, it will show the normal signs of wear in the form of scuffs to the band or surface of stones, lines from previous sizings or wearing of details.
