Vintage 15ct White Sapphire Ring

This beauty is a solitaire white sapphire in a cushion cut shape set in 15ct yellow gold open prong setting. The gallery has lovely flowing lines in an open crown shape and leads into the secure prong top.

The stone itself measures approx 9.3 x 8.8mm. There is a chip missing on one edge which is noticeable at some angles (see photos including circled area). This chip has a ripple look to the edges but they tend to blend into the facets when worn, so you have to look closely to find it. Chip measures approx 2mm including ripples.

The band is marked for 15ct gold. It is currently a size 7.75 and sizeable by a jeweler. Total weight is 2.97g.
