Vintage 14k Art Deco Green Spinel and Diamond Filigree Ring
This adorable, detailed ring features a bright bluish green, natural spinel beze set in the centre with two round single cut natural diamonds in the north and south position around it.
The design is hand finished with pierced detailing with white gold face and yellow gold band.
Era: Vintage. 1930s-1940s
Stones: One cut-cornered square step cut natural spinel measuring approx 4.06 x 3.78 x 1.78mm and weighing approx 0.24 carats. Colour is medium, strong, very slightly bluish green. Clarity is slightly included.
Two round single cut natural diamonds measuring approx. 2.0-2.1mm. The total estimated weight of the diamonds is 0.06 carats. Colour is G/H and clarity is SI1/SI2.
Metal: 14k white and yellow gold. Band is yellow gold with face of ring being white gold. There is some yellowing to the white gold in places.
Size: The ring is approx. 6.75 and sizable within reason. The total weight of the ring is 2.20g.
Condition: There is some obvious wear to the patterning on the face of the ring. There are traces of the original floral patterns in places and the edges show wear to the finer details. In addition, there is a break in the filigree on one side. See photos for details. This does not prevent the ring from being worn but may cause it to be a bit more fragile with wear since some integrity is lost.
There is a current third party professional appraisal included with an estimated retail value of $1,650 CAD.
This item is used/vintage so it has been previously loved. As such, it will show the normal signs of wear in the form of scuffs to the surface or wearing of details. Any obvious issues will be expressly detailed but none of our jewellery will be in perfect showroom condition due to it being vintage of antique.
