Matching Set of Gold Filled Victorian Wedding Bracelets

Gorgeous matching Victorian Wedding bracelets with gold filled mesh wrist belt and tassel ends. Slide holds bracelet in place but slides easily along the mesh bracelet when pulled (no locking mechanism - always able to slide). 

These matching bracelets were part of an old tradition where the bride-to-be would receive one on engagement and the matching one when married. Over the years most sets have been broken up and a matching set is hard to find due to this. 

Bracelets are adjustable and able to fit very large wrists. Smaller wrists will have extended "tail" with tassels hanging. Slides measure approx .5 inch by .9 of an inch. Bracelet mesh has a width of approx .4 of an inch. There are no hallmarks or markings. Slight wear evident.
