Antique Georgian 14k 1821 Mourning Ring with Seed Pearls and Hair Locket
This coveted style of mourning ring features the black enameled band which reads IN MEMORY OF with a front of split pearls and a small hair locket.
Tested for 14k yellow gold, this memorial ring contains 14 split seed pearls and is hand made with etched ribbon and scroll motifs around the edges. The band holds Old English Letters spelling out IN MEMORY OF and on the inside reverse of the face of the ring are the details of the dearly loved "Elizabeth Coote, OB 20 Ap 1821, At 73"

Currently a size 8 but fits smaller due to width. Likely suiting a 7-7.25 and cannot be sized.
Total weight of ring is 6.1g.
There is some enamel loss and wear to the band. Pearls are in good condition. Hair locket has some debris inside.
