Gorgeous, rich blue enamel set on 14k rosy gold and accented by 24 rose cut natural diamonds around a quartz covered hair compartment - the perfect example of sentimental or mourning piece from the era.
Ring is unmarked for gold but professionally tested as 14k. There are 24 free-form rose cut diamonds for an estimated combined weight of 0.25 carats. Currently a size 7 and not a typical resize, so very experienced jeweler would be required for any alterations.
Ring was likely originally a brooch or some other form of jewelry as the reverse looks like it has either been converted or repaired in the past. Please review photos carefully to get the full view of the reverse as it does show rough areas and dark portions. Quartz cover to the hair is in decent shape but there appears to be some debris inside with the hair that makes it look like cover is scratched. This typically happens where there is some kind of opening to the hair and air and debris make its way inside.
Blue enamel is in excellent shape for age but one small issue is circled in the photos.
This ring can NOT be submerged and should be removed before any hand-washing or product use. Water may damage the interior and hair.
