Vintage Double Sided Bird Pendant with Mother of Pearl Background and Real Feather Accents

This incredible piece of art features a bird on each side of a double sided pendant. Each bird has some hand painted elements on what appears to be mother of pearl or shell background with a iridescent sheen. There are real feathers in the design of the birds and assumed glass beads for eyes. Amazing and well preserved, although there is a tiny crack-like issue in the very bottom but looks to appear on only one side so may have been part of the original background. Crystal or glass cover is in good shape. Some of the paintings have worn slightly and whatever material they originally used for legs and beak has migrated in places to the edges of the piece but very hard to notice unless scrutinized up close.

This piece is vintage so it has been previously loved. As such, it will show the normal signs of wear in the form of scuffs to the surface or metals & wearing of details. Any obvious issues will be expressly detailed but none of our jewelry will be in perfect showroom condition due to it being vintage of antique.
