Vintage 14k Yellow Gold, Blue Enamel and Rose Cut Diamond Star Ring

This beauty reminds me of a hot air balloon with its gorgeous bright blue enamel dome and large, sparkling diamond star on top. The bottom sides taper inward like the bottom of the balloon with scalloped cutouts. Solidly built with a heavy, thick band, this is a quality piece.

The star takes up most of the face of the ring with blue enamel filling in the spaces on the sides of the dome. There are 7 upside down round brilliant cut diamonds, with largest diamond set in the center.

Currently a size 5.75 and sizable. It has a solid weight of 5.21g. Center top portion of domed design measures approx 13.10 x 13.4mm in diameter.
Total diamond weight is 0.26 point.

There is some wear, especially noticeable in a mark where the enamel has worn off.
