Antique Edwardian 10k Sapphire and Pearl Bar Brooch

Bar brooches are quite a versatile accessory, especially with the recent trend of conversion to necklaces and bracelets. As a brooch they line collars, sit beautifully on ties, line buttoned down shirts and can hang suspended from chains as long pendants.

This gorgeous example features three sparkling medium blue sapphire stones and six lustery round pearls (assumed cultured as they are well matched in size and color). The reverse features an Edwardian clasp with a 10k purity mark.

Pin is functioning well and solidly built in a silvertone metal. The rest of the bar brooch is yellow gold.

Sapphire stones in their bezel settings are approx 2.7-2.8mm and pearls are approx 2.2-2.3mm. Brooch measures 2 inches long (pin extends slightly past the end of the bar). Total weight is 2.65g.
