Antique Victorian 12k Yellow Gold Onyx & Sardonyx Cameo Brooch / Pendant

Beautiful, rich scroll detail in a taille d'epargne border around a cameo made of black onyx background and carved white sardonyx front.

An original Victorian pin back lets this be worn as a brooch but a jump ring has been added to the top to allow for the piece to be worn as a pendant as well.

It measures 30 x 40mm and weighs 9.7g. 

There is some evidence on glue on the back of the cameo but is not noticeable from the front or when worn.
