Antique Real Butterfly Double Sided Pendant

Absolutely gorgeous, etched gold filled pendant with double sided display of butterfly and moth. One side has a dark butterfly with iridescent blue wing areas in a small scenery of flowers. The other side has a more subdued tan moth with small scenery of flowers. The material between the two sides appears to be iridescent opaque mother of pearl, which gives a stunning sheen to the background and makes the real butterfy and moth stand out.

The setting is unmarked but gold filled with rich engraved detailing. There is a loop at the top to hang from a chain.

Measures 6 mm thick by 32mm in diameter. With the bail included, piece is 42 mm tall. Total weight is 6.3g.
