Antique Georgian Black Dot Paste & Silver Knot Brooch

Gorgeous, clear, sparkling paste stones set with black dots (circa 1770s) in a delightful knot or pretzel shaped brooch. Metal is silver and brooch back features a t-hinge and c-clasp as used in that era.

Solidly built with incredible sparkle for such an old piece. Pastes in great condition with strong black dots in the center. Could be a stylized lovers knot. Looks great on a chain as a pendant as well. Quite rare to find one in this condition, with only slight discoloration to a couple stones at certain angles.

No hallmarks but tests for silver. Total weight is a solid 6.08g. Measures approx 21mm by 27mm with a slight extension of the pin past the end of the brooch (era appropriate).
