Vintage Egyptian 12k Imitation Alexandrite Solitaire Ring

This statement ring features a color change corundum (sapphire) that imitates the gorgeous Alexandrite stones. Facing purple in most lights, it quickly shifts to a rich grey-blue in low natural light and artificial light, with flecks of bright purple in the sparkle. Absolutely stunning and set beautifully in a 12k yellow gold gallery featuring stylized heart shapes and triple split shoulder bands.

Marked for 12k and x-ray tested to confirm, the stone tests as sapphire electronically and would be synthetic. Stone measures approx 13mm in diameter, making is a striking statement size with beautiful flashes of color.

Currently a size 5, but sizeable by a jeweler. Total weight is 3.54g.
